He is the author of two other books: Practice Made Perfect (2002)—which he wrote in four days on the back of a cruise ship getting a tan in the middle of the Caribbean and 6 Keys for Successful Leaders (2003)—which he wrote while traveling through the Colorado Rockies. (Yes, there is a pattern here). In 2002, he was the invited Professor of Marketing and Organizational Leadership at the Kazak-American Free University in Kazakhstan. He began his professional career right out of graduate school and by age 25 was working as a professor of psychology teaching five subjects to more than 1,700 graduate level students with an average age of 38.
